Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Position Type: Full time, Part time

Job Summary: As an RBT, you will play an essential role in providing direct services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and adults while developing valuable skills in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Key Responsibilities:

As an RBT, you will be responsible for implementing behavior analysis treatment plans designed by BCBAs. Duties include:

  • Conducting one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in various settings (home, school, clinic).
  • Data collection and documentation during therapy sessions to monitor client progress.
  • Implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by the BCBA.
  • Providing feedback and collaborating with the BCBA on clients' progress.
  • Ensuring client safety and well-being during therapy sessions.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of client information.
  • Adhering to ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB and the organization.

  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure you stay up to date with the latest ABA techniques and best practices.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of professionals including BCBAs, clinical supervisors, and other RBTs to provide the best possible care.

  • Adherence to Policies: Follow organizational policies and procedures related to safety, conduct, and documentation.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in various speech therapy techniques and practices.
  • Experience with cognitive-communication strategies is desirable.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
  • Empathy and patience when working with patients of all ages.

Requirements

RBT Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT)
    • Must be in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Experience in working with children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the community.
  • Reliable transportation (for home-based clients, if applicable).

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Type: Full time

Expected Salary: $20 to $26 per patient depending on qualifications

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping patients achieve effective communication skills to enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals.
  • Provide therapy sessions to individuals, focusing on improving communication skills and functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate families and caregivers on communication strategies and exercises to support patients’ progress.
  • Stay updated on best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure and ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
